The 11th Annual
Scottdale Fall Festival
10K/5K Run and 5K Competitive Walk

This year is the 11th anniversary of the Scottdale Fall Festival race. The race began in 1998 with a 5K Run/Walk on a mostly flat course. In 2003 the 10K was added and the 5K was changed to a more challenging course. In 2004 the start and finish were moved to its present time and location on Pittsburgh street.

This is the fourth year for cash awards and this year the awards are increasing. Race date is Saturday, September 20 at 2:30 p.m. Entry fee is $16 (before 9/22) and $19 on race day. Please call Race Director, Charlie Ellis, at 724-867-7899 for application(s) and more information.

The Start/Finish line is on Pittsburgh St. in front of the Elks. All participants will go west on Pittsburgh St., turn left onto Chestnut, left onto Market St., left onto Broadway sidewalk (west side) and left onto Pittsburgh St. After passing the Start/Finish line, they will continue up Pittsburgh St. to Park Ave, where the 5K runners/walkers will turn right then go right onto Homestead Ave.
The 10K runners will stay on Pittsburgh Street past the former Lake Forest Park, turn right onto Mt. Nebo Rd.(at stop sign) and right onto Homestead Ave. Both courses continue left onto Pittsburgh Street to the Finish line.

Cash awards are presented to the top three overall male and female participants and the top three male and female finishers in each age group for both the run and the walk events.
